I am pleased to be open again. I will be required to follow certain restrictions and obviously want my clients to know what these are and how I am adjusting the treatments and working environment to meet these requirements.

Cleanliness has always been a large part of the business and that does not change. But now it is more than important than ever.
I will be washing my hands regularly and thoroughly as usual. On arrival, the door to the reception area will be open and there will be hand sanitiser available for each client to use before entering the treatment room. Every client now needs to wear a face mask too, although you will not need to wear this during the treatment itself.
Each client should have received a Covid19 declaration form to complete ahead of the treatment booking, or should have been directed to the online form to complete. You need to confirm that you are healthy enough for your treatment and to enable any Track and Trace procedure to be carried out if requested and necessary. I am now also displaying a QR code for your use if you have the official NHS track and trace app. A normal consultation form should also have been forwarded to each client ahead of the treatment, or filled in online. This ensures that you receive your full treatment within the hour allocated.
Once in the treatment room you will be left to remove your shoes and any items of clothing necessary for your booked treatment to be carried out. There will be a box available for leaving these items. This box is cleaned and sanitised between every appointment.
Following government guidelines, duration of contact should be kept to a minimum and therefore treatments times have been slightly reduced. Further details can be found on the booking page, within the individual treatment details.
I will be wearing a face covering for all treatments.
I would appreciate all payments to be made using a contactless card if possible.
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer toilet facilities, unless you have an urgent need.
Between treatments all surfaces will be sanitised, all sheets and towels will be removed for washing and fresh linen added. The room will be thoroughly ventilated.
Due to the extra time required for the amended working practice, I can realistically only have a maximum of three clients in any one day to begin with. There will be no overlap of bookings and all appointments will need to be pre-booked. Clients need to attend alone.
Pregnant ladies will require a letter from their GP to confirm it is acceptable to have a massage.
Anyone feeling at all unwell, please do not attend your appointment. Let me know as soon as possible so that the appointment can be offered on. All late cancellation fees are not in operation at this present time.
Rest assured I have updated the risk assessment and have taken every step to ensure your safety as well as my own. I am performing lateral flow tests twice a week to confirm I do not have Covid-19 myself.
